101.3 The River

I was born in northern Manitoba, in the small fishing village of Thompson. One of my most fond memories, growing up on Hudson Bay, was waiting for the whalers to make thier way into port, while listening to Flin Flon Bombers hockey broadcasts on the AM radio. Since those early days on the frozen tundra I have loved the sound of a crackling radio broadcast. I hope one day to buy a second hand AM transmitter and spend my golden years replaying my favourite hockey broadcasts and England Dan and John Ford Coley songs.
